One of the most respected chefs in Britain, John Williams MBE, in his trademark oversized chef's hat, has overseen The Ritz restaurant since 2004. One of the world's most prestigious hotels, its kitchen brigade includes over 60 chefs responsible for the menus. Sublime signature dishes and simple seasonal recipes adorn the book's pages, each one with Williams' flair for creating beautiful, delicate pieces of edible art. He received the ultimate accolade of an MBE for services to hospitality in 2008 in a career spanning over 40 years and this year won the Lifetime Achievement Award at The National Restaurant Awards.

John Williams will share his expertise and culinary philosophy, accompanied by unique glimpses into life behind the scenes and the journey to gain their first Michelin star in 2017. A long-standing favourite of the Royal family, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth chose The Ritz to host her 80th birthday banquet, and HRH The Prince of Wales awarded his Royal Warrant to the hotel for services to catering and banqueting.
