Get in to the Christmas spirit and make your own festive wreath to decorate your home.
Join us at Gawthorpe Hall for a seasonal wreath making workshop led by one of the Lancashire Adult Learning tutors. Using real holly and greenery harvested from the grounds (as part of regular winter gardening work) you will be guided into how to create your own handmade festive wreath, and to decorate it with seasonal embellishments. The workshop will be held in the atmospheric Servant's Hall, with tea, coffee and mince pies included too.
Materials provided – holly, wire hoop & attachments, a variety of embellishments (ribbon, pinecones, dried fruit etc).
You are welcome to bring along additional items for personalising your wreath, these can be added during the workshop. Please bring gardening gloves as holly and other materials used can be sharp.
Please note – Lancashire Adult Learning provide the tutor at no cost, the charge is for the materials, refreshments and room use at Gawthorpe Hall. Lancashire Adult Learning request that participants sign up for further information on other courses they offer.
Gawthorpe Hall is part of Lancashire County Museum Service and Lancashire County Council's Cultural Services.
