A guided walk around the grounds and Walled Garden of Gawthorpe Hall, organised by the Friends of Gawthorpe.
Come and discover Gawthorpe Hall's garden and grounds on this guided walk led by the National Trust Ranger. Meet in the cobbled courtyard, where you can have a look inside the stunning Great Barn (about to undergo restoration) and then explore the borders around the Hall enroute to the (secret) Walled Garden. Here you can explore this haven for plants and wildlife, then enjoy refreshments in the yurt, served by the Friends of Gawthorpe.
Meet at 11am in the courtyard, £3 (pay on the day, cash only please), refreshments included.
This event is outside in the grounds which do have uneven paths, the route will avoid steps as much as possible.
