Eric Morecambe Centenary Celebrations

Celebrate the 100th birthday of comedy legend Eric Morecambe at the historic Morecambe Winter Gardens. 

This headline weekend is the 'crown jewel' of a year-long town-wide celebration, timed to coincide with Eric's actual centenary on May 14th.

Weekend highlights:
The festivities offer a blend of free community access and exclusive ticketed performances.
Free Open House, Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 – 15:00: explore the Grade II* listed theatre with building tours, live organ music, and classic TV clips on the big screen.
Centenary Discussion, Saturday, 16:00: Join Eric's children, Gary and Gail Morecambe, for an intimate Q&A and interview session about the icon's life.
An Evening with Eric & Ern, Saturday, 19:30: direct from London's West End, this hit stage show brings the duo's legendary sketches and songs back to life.
Special Film Screening, Sunday, 16:00: a community screening of the classic feature film That Riviera Touch.
