Emergence is the postgraduate dance company of Joss Arnott Dance and the University of Salford which is embedded within an industry-led MA Dance Performance and Professional Practices programme.
Each year, dancers collaborate with Artistic Director Joss Arnott and internationally acclaimed choreographers to co-produce a programme of performance works, touring nationally under the guidance of Joss Arnott and a wider team of dance professionals.
Emergence's Spring/Summer 2024 tour will see powerhouse choreographers, Miguel Altunaga and Noa Zuk (Gaga Technique), who will create 2 original new works for the company. Joss Arnott completes the triple bill with a restaging of 'SURGE', premiered during the Emergence 2023 tour, to showcase some of the UK's most exciting emerging dance artists.
Physically charged, adventurous and daring – the 2024 triple bill programme will be a feast for all dance and non-dance audiences to enjoy. Offering a distinct ad entertaining programme that gives audiences a broad and diverse view of the sector.
