One of Shakespeare's most famous comedies, A Midsummer Night's Dream follows three storylines as they are tangled together by fae trickster Puck; four young lovers traverse an enchanted forest on Midsummer's night, The Faerie King Oberon and Queen Titania feud with one another, and a travelling troupe present a play within a play. Believed to have been written in 1595 or 1596 to celebrate an aristocratic wedding, ours is a story of order and chaos, waking and dreaming, and love and marriage.
Let yourself be whisked away on an enchanting journey to the most magical of forests and meet bewitched lovers, playful fairies, and hilarious travelling players. Beautifully designed Elizabethan costumes, a wonderful musical score and fine performances come together to make this an evening of unmissable summer garden theatre.
