At Mrs Dowsons Farm Park they are passionate about giving their visitors the opportunity to see, touch and engage with their friendly farm animals, explore the countryside and experience a real working farm!
Don’t miss their new BIG BARN.
NEW! The BIG BARN is home to donkeys, sheep and alpacas who are waiting for you to come and feed them!
Fun activities and talks.
Ever wanted to know why a cow has four stomachs? How we feed the baby calves, or how they farm and conserve the fields and wildlife that call the farm home? They have lots of different talks and activities throughout the day including talks from their real farmers!
Explore their farmland.
Take in the fresh country air with a walk on our nature trail and meet some of their animals, big and small, along the way. They also have exciting tractor rides!
Mrs Dowsons Farm Park look forward to seeing you soon…down on the farm!
“We had a wonderful day out feeding the lambs, horses, goats and rabbits. Even on a cold day it’s so good to be outside on the farm. The children loved it.” Laura, Facebook
As well as listening out for the sounds of the farm and countryside, join the farmer for a fun and educational tour of the farm. He’ll tell you all about what it’s like working on a farm, from getting up at 5am to bringing new born calves into the world!
There really is so much to see at Mrs Dowsons Farm Park, with hundreds of animals waiting to meet you and your family. If you’re lucky enough to visit on a day when their tractor is in the fields, you’ll be able to jump on board in the trailer and see all the sights in style – farmer style!
Mrs Dowsons Farm Park is a real working farm which means they’re always busy caring for their friendly animals! You can find out exactly what it’s like to be a farmer, even muck in and help to bottle feed the lambs, feed the hungry alpaca or handle baby chicks – it’s all in a day’s work exploring the farm.
At Mrs Dowsons Farm Park, they make their own award winning ice cream using fresh milk from their farm dairy. Although their ice cream kitchen is off limits due to their top secret recipes, you can treat your little farmers to a fresh and delicious pot or cone in their café!
