Barnacre Cottages

Located in a renowned Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in a tranquil location with spectacular views across to the coast, Lake District and even the Isle of Man on a clear day. All five cottages are 5 stars and are set in 12 acres of fields and bordered by mature woodland.

The cottages have been carefully and thoughtfully converted and are the perfect blend of quality accommodation with the creature comforts that make a real difference to your holiday or short break. Care from the resident owners ensures a warm and comfortable stay so you can enjoy the fruits of our many prestigious awards.

The kitchens are all very well equipped and the interior design provides a finish, which is that little bit special with leather furniture, terracotta tiles, slate and wooden floors and hand painted décor by local artist.

For those who seek a relaxing break the countryside offers a host of gentle walks to enjoy the local wildlife from woodpeckers to pheasants and deer roaming the surrounding bluebell woods, as well as our own Speckled hens.
