Relaxed and original or traditional and formal – Astley Hall can host your perfect wedding. We will help you create the ceremony of your dreams in either the 400-year-old Grade I listed Astley Hall or Grade II listed Coach House.
The Great Hall offers a breathtaking setting for your ceremony; you’ll say your vows beneath magnificent 17th Century plaster ceilings, surrounded by rare painted panelling in the grandest room of Astley Hall.
The Coach House is a converted stable full of character and charm overlooking the spectacular grounds of Astley Hall, another fantastic space to choose for an intimate wedding venue.
Set in acres of beautiful parkland, whichever space you choose provides the ideal backdrop for capturing those special moments.

Please kindly note, an additonal ceremony fee is payable to and booked directly with the Registrar at Lancashire County Council Registration Services. Please check their availability before making a booking. We are always delighted to welcome couples who would like to come and look round and discuss their day in more detail. Chorley is easy to find - just off junction 8 of the M61. From there follow the many brown tourist road signs to Astley Hall, which is to the west of Chorley town centre off the A581 Chorley-Southport Road
Astley Hall is also only a 15 minute drive from junction 27 of the M6, simply follow the A49 Preston route until you see the brown signs at the village of Euxton. Parking for cars and coaches is available in the Astley Village car park to the rear of Astley Hall. This is approximately 300m from the front of the hall. There is no charge for parking.

By bus Chorley is served by regular buses from surrounding towns, including, Blackburn, Bolton, Manchester and Preston. From the town's bus station C8/9 minibuses operate every 15 minutes to Astley village (except Sundays).
By train Chorley is on the Blackpool/Preston/Manchester line, only 30 minutes from the centre of Manchester. Chorley railway station is approximately 20 minutes’ walk from Astley Hall, through Astley Park, or buses are available from the bus station opposite.
Euxton Balshaw Lane station is on the Liverpool/Wigan/Preston line is approximately a 30 minute walk from Astley Hall.
