Irishman's Tower at Hoghton Tower

The Irishman’s Tower occupies one of the former garrisons that interrupt the ramparts surrounding Hoghton Tower. This two-floor, cosy historic property is the perfect base for your rural retreat. Here you will be able to relax and unwind, enjoying some of the best views over one of the most beautiful areas of the country.

The Irishman’s Tower will accommodate a maximum of two people. Use it as your base to visit the local area whether by foot or by cycle or travel further a field with the Forest of Bowland, Lancaster and the Lake District all within striking distance. Play some golf at Pleasington, one of the best tests of golf in the North-West of England. Seek out locally produced food at one of the many farmers markets, village stores, pubs and restaurants nearby.

The Irishman's Tower is run to support the Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust. All annual surpluses are used to support its charitable objects which include the ongoing maintenance, repair and restoration of the historic fabric of the buildings and grounds.
