War of the Roses Weekend
Sunday 5th & Monday 6th May

The Sir John Saviles Household are back at Hoghton Tower for the third year running for two days of encampment, living history, demonstrations, drills and more! Great fun for all the family. The attendance of little knights in armour encouraged!
Activities throughout the day:
The Encampment Opens at 10am
First display – First Combat Display / weapons talk
Archery / Guns
Mummers Play
Lunch – Walk around the encampment
Second Combat Display / Weapons Talk
Bill and Kids Bill
Throughout the day the arena will be used for weapons training.
Living history displays around the campsite will be open all day.
Specific timings for each activity will be provided closer to the event day so please check back for specific times.
Please note:
The event takes place outdoors and will continue in the case of rain.
Parking is free.
Tea room is open 10am-4pm
Due to loud cannon shots throughout the day, dogs are no allowed for their own well being.
The event is a fundraising event for the Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust.
