World renowned choir The Sixteen return with their annual Choral Pilgrimage tour, this year entitled 'An Old Belief'. The programme is based around Hubert Parry's wartime masterpiece Songs of Farewell, a set of six choral motets that aim to reflect not only peace and unity and the search for a better world, but also an escape from the horrors of war. The work is accompanied by three short works from Thomas Campion, coupled with medieval carols and a new commission by Cecilia McDowall.
