Join us for an evening of laughter in the Pavilion Theatre on Friday 10th May. The Late show features top comedians Freddy Quinne, Jenny Collier, Vince Atta, Simon Lomas and Dane Baptise.
Freddy Quinne
Award-winning comedian Freddy Quinne is a regular at many of the biggest and best comedy clubs in the country. He has gained a fearsome reputation as one of the most accomplished live performers in the UK. His masterful joke telling and brutally honest approach has seen him gain a legion of fans across the world.
Jenny Collier
"Refreshingly original...Excellent★★★★ "Broadway Baby
"Fast-paced wit...Quick and clever★★★★ "theupcoming.co.uk
Jenny moved from the Welsh mountains to the Big Smoke in 2010 and has since embarked upon a career in stand-up comedy.
In August 2017 she performed 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Jen' at the Edinburgh Fringe which was described as 'Joyously liberating' by The List. She was then invited to perform the show in Barcelona and Sitges where she performed to lovely sold out rooms and learnt a bit of Spanish.
Highlight: Being team mates with Jo Brand on a BBC Radio panel show October 2013.
Vince Atta
Using a multi-track looper and pedals, Vince creates live on-the-spot Hip-Hop – Reggae – Techno – Anything, hilariously fusing it with natural stand-up, storytelling and characters, creating the most infectious songs you're ever likely to hear… it really is quite a show!
Since his musical reinvention, Vince is very much in demand, admired by audiences and peers alike; this unique, talented and incredibly funny act has to be seen to be believed!
It's fair to say that everything Vince Atta touches turns to gold. His high-octane performances, stunning delivery & flawless array of impressions leave you short of breath. With a broad, wonderful spectrum of material ranging from students, Spanish horses in a kitchen, psychotic London ex-girlfriends, pointless racial pride & the advantages of an alcoholic mother, Atta brings an inspiring touch of pathos which demonstrates an unerring ability to turn experience into bullet proof comedy.
Simon Lomas
"Splendidly different and very funny" - Notts Comedy Review
"Different to any act I've ever seen before" - Bruce Dessau
Simon Lomas is the unique and surprising new act on the circuit. He had his first appearance at Just the Tonic in May 2017 doing 10 minutes in a Nottingham show hosted by Ross Noble. He stole the show with his deadpan humour.

He has since written and starred in his own BBC sitcom series and made numerous other TV and radio appearances. His second stand up show Reasonable Doubts was met with sold out audiences and huge critical acclaim at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe, with his first nationwide solo tour following in 2016. In 2017, he presented his third stand up hour G.O.D. (Gold. Oil. Drugs.) about our worldwide pursuit of wealth, power and pleasure which achieved another total sell out run.
