The Continental's 13th Beer Festival
The Continental's legendary Beer Ferstival returns for its autumnal bash!

There are over 200 beers and ciders to discover and sample in two beer halls with some interesting flavours to whet your beak – including a glorious Imperial Stout weighing in at 11%.

Outdoor DJs and live music in the always popular music tent to provide an atmosphere to sooth your ales and the guys from The Ferret will be attending again, bringing with them their unforgettable and creatively tasty stews and burgers providing treats for every diet in their own smokehouse style.

But it’s not all ales, ciders and music this year; they’ve gone to great lengths to haul pumpkins down to the riverside to set the ghoulish tone of the 13th incarnation and they're bringing you what is probably the largest pumpkin in the north west. . !

The Great Pumpking is probably the Northwest’s largest Pumpkin of 2014 weighing in at around half a ton! This monstrous beast is going to be around all weekend joining in the rest of the ghoulish goings on.

A variety of acts fill the music line up this outing with some thing for everyone. Bands such as: Mary Joanna & the Southern Electrikk, Los Pecadores, Jeramiah Ferrari and Djangobop will be in attendance as well as David Shurr, Go Around Captain and The Spiral Room which is all nicely rounded off at either end with some great DJ sets from The Funky Onion guys.

With a whole host of treats and ghoulish goings on this Beer festival will be one to remember.
