Drive: From North/East or South. Come off the M6 at Junction 31, Samlesbury. Follow the signs for Preston (A59). Go past the Tickled Trout Hotel and head up the hill. You will be travelling along the full length of the A59 New Hall Lane (approximately 3 miles). Eventually you will come to a major T-Junction with the A6 London Road. Homebase will be in front of you. Turn right at this junction. Go through two sets of lights (junction with Church Street, then the Bus Station). Continue along the A6 Ringway. Go straight ahead at the junction with Fishergate (Grey Friars and Black Bull Pub on the corner). At the next junction, take the second left into Corporation Street, following signs for the Railway Station. Turn right at the staggered junction with Fishergate, past the Railway Station heading down Fishergate hill. Head through the next set of lights (Junction with Bow Lane). After the lights take the fourth turning on the left into South Meadow Lane (Casa Ceramica tile shop is on the corner). Continue along South Meadow Lane, past the Cricketers Arms and the Hindu Temple - the road here now bends to the right and then to the left. We are located at the end of the road, next to the Railway Bridge and entrance to Miller Park.
Drive: From Penwortham/ West. Head east down the A58 Liverpool Road towards Preston (Don’t take the bypass) or south along Strand Road. When you arrive at the junction of Liverpool Road/Strand Road turn right/go straight along Broadgate, Turn left onto Connaught Road which is the tenth road on your right. There is a small sign directing to the BAC Club on the corner. Drive straight along Connaught Road until you reach the end, then turn right onto South Meadow Lane. The pub is a couple of hundred yards along on the right next to the Railway Bridge.
By Bus: From the bus station catch the Stagecoach service numbers 2/2A/3/3A down Fishergate, go past the railway station, down the hill and get off at the junction of Fishergate Hill and Broadgate (just before the bridge over the river Ribble) in front of the row of shops. From here, it's just a 10 minute walk down Broadgate. Keep going down the full length. The road then turns into a footpath for a short distance along the river. You then get the pub, on the corner of Riverside and South Meadow Lane, by the Railway Bridge
