Stax of Soul
STAX of SOUL have been leaving an indelible mark on audiences and partygoers for over 30 years and are fresher, tighter, slicker and more exciting today than ever before.

This is the genuine STAX of SOUL, the UK's favourite, the original band born in Manchester back in 1983, the band that represents the complete package; professionalism both on and off stage, character, style, musicianship and most importantly, the talent to back it all up.

For over three decades STAX of SOUL have performed a consistent, highly successful, highly energised, non-stop Soul Review; a musical performance heavily influenced by the super soul best-sellers of the 60's which still make for the best and most popular dance music of today. It's a show that transports audiences and partygoers on a journey through the full spectrum of the great soul sounds of yesteryear from legends such as Otis Redding, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Sam and Dave, Jackie Wilson and all of their many colleagues.

STAX of SOUL's visual showmanship, combined with the clever marrying together of soul classics with modern musical arrangements and the all-out power of a super-tight brass section, makes for a high quality show that continues to set the original STAX of SOUL apart from the rest.

Three decades on and STAX of SOUL still continue to blow audiences and partygoers away!

The Grand is thrilled to invite them to Clitheroe for the first time.
