Beware serious quizzers, SFMQ is as far from your usual pub quiz as you can possibly get. Think of Sounds Familiar as more of a party disguised as a quiz.
With over 100 wall-to-wall bangers crammed in to a couple of hours, covering loads of genres and all the decades, there’s something for everybody. At the end of the night, SFMQ has crowds on their feet (and usually the tables too), dancing, belting out the tunes and acting like a 7-year old on Christmas Eve after eating too many blue Smarties. Although Sounds Familiar isn’t all about the jackpot swag, we give prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place plus ‘Best Team Name’ so there are plenty of chances to win.
Why not get a team of mates together – yep, you can even bring that weird guy who claims to know nothing about music – and come and see what all the fuss is about?!
(He’ll be the first one up belting out Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ into his inflatable microphone).
