Did you know that roller skating was a favourite pass time of Lancashire mill workers in the 1800s? And if you pop down to Queen Street Mill, you can try it for yourself.
This event is designed and brought to you by the QSM Young Creatives, the extremely talented group of young people wanting to bring something unique to this historic building. Throughout the day you will be able to experience a roller disco, live music, demonstrations of original mill machinery, activities and food vendors.
There will be a family skate session and an open skate session.
The event is free, and open to everyone.
If you are under 16 years, you will need to be accompanied by someone aged 17 or over.
