Headlining the bill is ADAM ANT, the legendary English singer, songwriter and frontman whose career began in the late '70s with Adam and the Ants and went on to deliver some of the biggest new wave anthems of the 1980s. With 10 UK Top Ten hits under his belt, including Kings Of the Wild Frontier, Stand and Deliver, Prince Charming and Goody Two Shoes, Ant promises a set packed with classic hits and a harder-edged take on his early material that fans won't want to miss.
Joining him are The Undertones, the iconic Northern Irish punk-pop outfit formed in Derry in the mid-1970s whose energy and timeless songs like Teenage Kicks helped define a generation. Known for their tight hooks, pop-driven punk and endless live spirit, they're sure to bring full-on excitement to the stage.
Also on the bill are Altered Images, the Scottish new wave/post-punk band fronted by Clare Grogan who scored a string of UK Top-40 hits in the early '80s with songs like Happy Birthday and I Could Be Happy. Their blend of youthful pop flair and post-punk edge keeps the party going strong.
A perfect night to kick off the week of celebrations. 30 years of Rebellion festivals and 50 years of Punk.
