Peer Pleasure + dull.

These two bands draw from post-punk and dance music shouting with high energy songs referencing disillusionment with the modern world.  A seven piece and a duo with tons of volume and plenty of gadgets and gizmos to create an engaging sonic landscape.

Peer Pleasure:
Bad men, worse tunes.  Peer Pleasure are one big dysfunctional family, founded as a lockdown project and existing as a groupchat long before a band.  Featuring a collective of members from the south east of Ireland the band mixes elements of noise, blues, garage and punk music with an unhealthy cynicism, absurdist humour, parish hall level resent and a healthy dose of bare knuckle call outs and other video nasties.  The band's music has received praise from outlets such as So Young Magazine, Hot Press, The Goo and Nialler9 and have been featured on the BBC 6's New Music Fix and Indie Forever.  Playing over 150 shows since 2022 everywhere from pub backrooms, theatre spaces, Belgian squats and international festivals, Peer Pleasure will play anywhere, anytime and under any conditions.

dull:
Hailing from Lancaster, dull. are an experimental duo fusing noise rock, post-punk, and dance music influences their own unique sound.  Drawing on their experiences as DJs, dull. mix atmospheric soundscapes with harsh blasts of noise and pounding rhythms.  The band's first single Spilling was released on the 15 November and the band have the whole city brimming with anticipation about what's next.

This gig is part of Blackburn Gigs, a live music programme running at The Bureau from April to September 2026.  Supported by Arts Council England and Blackburn with Darwen Council, Blackburn Gigs is rebuilding the town's grassroots music scene with diverse line-ups every weekend.
