This October, Queen Street Mill invites you to take part in a free, fun, and hands-on creative event for all ages. Using heritage calico as your canvas, design and decorate your very own textile patch using fabric paints, pens, stitching, and more.
Whether you're inspired by the incredible installations of the British textiles or just want to get creative, there's something for everyone. Once your patch is complete, you can choose to take it home or ask a member of the team to stitch it onto the growing community tapestry wall, an evolving artwork that celebrates creativity, connection, and Burnley's rich textile heritage.
All materials are provided, and no experience is needed. Just drop in, get stuck in, and be part of something beautiful.
Suitable for all ages.
