‘Last Choir Singing’ is a Lancashire-wide choir competition for junior schools in partnership with the Music Hubs in Lancashire, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen. Launched in 2015, the competition was such a success that it has now become an annual event.
Music education is alive and well in Lancashire and the number of schools that have entered the competition is evidence of this. With choirs from the Region and our expert adjudicators, this is an event not to be missed. The winners will go through to the County final at King George’s Hall in June.

From the M6 (north or South) join the M65 at Junction 29. Leave the M65 at Junction 5 & follow A666 towards Blackburn.From Manchester M60 leave at Junction 18 onto M66. Leave M66 onto the A56. Keep on the A56 until you reach M65, head for Blackburn and leave at Junction 5. Follow A666 into Blackburn. The Cathedral is located on the A666 Darwen Street opposite Radio Lancashire.
The Cathedral is located close to the main Bus and Rail Station in the town centre. There are direct bus & rail services to Blackburn from Accrington,Clitheroe, Bolton, Burnley, Darwen, Chorley, Manchester & Preston.
