Celebrate the Festival of Archaeology 2026 and book your young archaeologists (age 7 years +) onto a pottery workshop. Have a play with some clay and roll-out and then decorate a tile in the medieval style in this experimental archaeology activity. Each young archaeologist will take their tile home and receive their very own certificate to take away, too
The session lasts around 45 minutes. Please book online or phone, email, or call in at the museum shop for more information. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
An alternative self-guided activity will be provided for younger children (under 7 years) accompanying children taking part.
Clitheroe Castle Museum is managed by Lancashire County Council's Museum Service on behalf of Ribble Valley Borough Council.
