Jubilee Half-Term at HAPPA

HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association) will be hosting activities for the half-term holiday and Jubilee celebrations, including pony grooming, crown decorating and an afternoon tea all on the programme.

All week a Free Facts with Fergus Trail, a horse quiz, based around the farm, is available to complete when you book your visit online.

Pony grooming sessions will be held between 11:00 - 15:00.  Children aged 4+ and adults are invited to groom one of HAPPA’s gentle horses supervised by a member of staff.  These sessions are available to pre-book on online, when you purchasing an entry ticket.

To celebrate the Jubilee on visitors will be able to decorate their own royal crown in the farm’s activity room, which can be purchased alongside entry ticket.  Visitors will be able to take a picture on the throne.

But that's not all, the Ttam are holding Own a Pony Days and Beginners Guide to Horse and Pony Care Courses throughout the week.  If you, or anyone you know, is a keen equestrian, here’s a chance to expand knowledge and skills, or develop new ones, through a range of courses with interactive sessions and classroom-based activities.

The onsite cafe will be open, serving a selection of food and drink all week, including a Right Royal Jubilee Afternoon Tea on Sunday.  With an assortment of sandwiches and sweet treats the tea, priced at £17.95 per person.
