Local artist Natasha is hosting a Weaving with Flowers workshop in the lovely Tearoom.
Perfect for beginners who are looking to try a new craft. Join Natasha for this calming workshop and learn the fundamentals of weaving with natural fibres and seasonal flowers. Using a simple loom, you will learn how to set up a warp and master the basics of plain weave. You will then create your own unique composition with seasonal flowers, treasuring the memories of summer through your personal choices of colour and pattern.
You will leave with a beautiful woven piece of textile art to cherish and take home with you. What's included:
Three hour class with an expert local artist.
Morning class (09:30 - 12:30) or afternoon class (14:00 - 17:00).
A scrumptious afternoon tea (12:30 - 13:45).
Afternoon tea:
Enjoy a selection of tasty sandwiches, mouth-watering savoury bites and delectable sweet treats along with a traditional scone with clotted cream and jam, all served with your choice of freshly brewed tea or coffee, within the historic setting of this iconic Lancashire landmark.
