Did you know that thousands of archaeological objects are discovered every year by people going about their daily lives? Have you found a mystery object you'd like to identify? Drop in to see our amazing Finds Liaison Officers from Portable Antiquities Lancashire and Cumbria to find out more about your discoveries.

The British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme exists to record archaeological objects found by members of the public and any finds recorded, "help advance knowledge of the history and archaeology of England and Wales."

Please be reminded that you are are legally obliged to record treasure to the Finds Liaison Officer within 14 days. So if you have any questions or objects to share join us at Queen Street Mill.
