The riveting story behind the first manned mission to the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong and the decade leading to the historic Apollo 11 flight.

Written by Academy Award® winner Josh Singer (Spotlight, The Post), and based on the book by James R. Hansen, the film explores the triumphs and the costs on Armstrong, his family, his colleagues and the nation of one of the most dangerous missions in history.

Road Directions

Darwen Library Theatre is situated in Darwen town centre on the junction between School Street and Knott Street. From M65, approach along the Main road into Darwen, turning left into Union Street, then right into Knott Street. From Bolton, approach along main road into Darwen town centre, turn right along Church Street past Darwen Bus Station, follow the road round toward Railway Road, and turn left onto School Street.
