Hay Time Project Officer, Carol Edmondson, will lead this walk through the lovely meadows around Gisburn Forest.
Taking in Stephen Park meadow, St. James' chapel Biological Heritage Site (sympathetically managed by volunteers), Blackhouse Farm Site of Special Scientific Interest and Rain Gill, Carol will explain the what, why and how of our meadow restoration work as we enjoy the sights and sounds of this beautiful and valuable habitat.
Approx 3.5 miles. Mix of surfaced roads/paths, long grass and uneven, muddy tracks. There may be some stiles and moderate slopes.
