Festival Bowland 2022 - There Be Dragons! online event

Who would have guessed that Bowland is home to a whole host of friendly dragons?

Lucy, Jack, Alice, Theo and the rest of the fiery clan live in a cave on the side of a mountain and spend their days working playing and having adventures. Thankfully, they have two young friends who help them stay hidden from human eyes…..

Join this special, online storytelling event where we follow author, Jane Huddleston, as she climbs Clougha Pike to introduce us to her Sunburst City Dragons family! Inspired by walks through her beautiful local landscape, and based on tales told to her own children, Jane has created this series of fun, rhyming picture books, complete with lovely illustrations by David Robinson.

And if you want to find out more about these engaging characters, Jane will be online for a live Q&A, after our virtual adventure.

Fun for families with children aged four to eight years old.
