History Beneath Your Feet: Clitheroe Castle Archaeology Tour

Celebrate the Festival of Archaeology 2024 and join in this special archaeology tour around the castle.

Using artefacts found around Clitheroe and research into the archaeological work done on Castle Hill.  You will be taken back in time to the history beneath your feet.  Plus find out what new insights have been discovered about life at Clitheroe Castle, since new archaeological work has been done at the keep.

The free tour starts at 11:30 and will take appoximately 45 minutes, with time for questions.
