Dragon Egg Easter Quest at Hoghton Tower

Spring into action with a fun-filled adventure at Hoghton Tower this Easter. The Dragon Riders have landed and are looking for new recruits to help them locate the missing dragon eggs which are scattered around Hoghton Tower. Take part in various quests and challenges and tick them off your checklist! Learn about these mystical creatures, meet our enthusiastic characters and become a legendary Dragon Rider!

A perfect event for any dragon enthusiast and, of course, kids who enjoy story-telling and love to be creative!

Suitable for children aged 5-12. The event will run 11am – 3pm each day. You can arrive any time from 11am, with last entry at 2pm. We recommend allowing at least 90 minutes to enjoy your adventure.

All children must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket at all times.

Fancy dress is strongly encouraged, however, please ensure everyone wears warm layers underneath their costume and comfortable, warm and flat footwear e.g. trainers or boots.

The tearoom will be open 11am – 4pm. If you would like to take advantage of the children’s lunch package (£6.00), please pre-book to ensure availability. There will be sandwiches, cakes and drinks available for adults to purchase on the day. Please note that those attending a session beginning at 1pm will need to eat prior to their session as the tearoom will be closing at the end of the session.

Children’s Lunch Package: Cheese or Ham Sandwich, carton of juice, a packet of crisps, a sweet treat and a piece of fruit.

Please include any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Although we take precautions, we are unable to guarantee that any item is free from cross-contamination from any allergen.

This is a fundraising event in aid of the Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust (Registered Charity Number: 508357). Thank you for helping us to preserve this beautiful historic building and the grounds in which it stands.

Refunds

All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferrable, please check the details carefully and ensure that you can commit to the date and time before you complete your booking as regrettably, we are unable to accommodate any changes once your booking is finalised.

If we have to cancel your booking for any reason, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to transfer your ticket to an alternative session (subject to availability).
