Douglas & Moss + Canter Semper

Douglas and Moss are a folk duo known for uncommon passion, grace, and sensitivity.  The pair, Rebecca Clare Douglas and Richard Moss, met whilst performing with Mike Harding and discovered a shared musical connection that blossomed into a unique artistic partnership.  Steeped in the rich folk tradition the duo weave a captivating blend of both traditional and original tunes and songs.  Hailing from diverse backgrounds, Douglas, a classically trained violinist with a love for traditional music, and Moss, a skilled guitarist with a warm singing voice, weave their talents together to create a sound rich in both technical mastery and genuine emotion enchanting audiences with their artistry.

Canter Semper is a Manchester-based acoustic trio known for their unique brand of "Vintage Gospel"—a harmony-driven blend of folk, roots, soul, and pop.

This gig is part of Blackburn Gigs, a live music programme running at The Bureau from April to September 2026.  Supported by Arts Council England and Blackburn with Darwen Council, Blackburn Gigs is rebuilding the town's grassroots music scene with diverse line-ups every weekend.
