Enjoy a one-of-a-kind tour designed to inspire your creative writing.
Join us on a special tour that looks at how Queen Street Mill and the wider history of the textile industry can inspire your writing. You will enjoy an hour-long tour, learning about the processes of manufacturing and the experiences of all the people who made it happen.
After the tour, there will be a two-hour session to share ideas and inspiration, including time for writing and sharing feedback.
Whether you enjoy writing historical fiction, Lancashire tales, or recounting the story of how your family came to work in the mills, there will be a story for you to tell. Or maybe the rhythm of the looms will inspire a poem, or you will feel compelled to tell a chilling tale.
