Learn all about the most beautiful of garden styles, the cottage garden.
Greg will teach you how to get the genuine look and what you need to know to have successful flowering and growth. Learn about specific plants that will give you the look in both sun and shade and what you'll need to do to look after your creation. Greg will also coach you on creating cottage garden style pots and summer hanging baskets. You'll have all the knowledge you need to have a gorgeous garden this summer.
The talk will include a Q&A with Greg, plus a 30 minute interval for complementary tea or coffee and cake.

Easy to find: located just off the M6, Junction 35 on the A6, two miles south of Carnforth. Brown tourist signage from the main A6 road: Bay View Gardens. Heading north from the Manchester, Preston or Lancaster direction on the M6 or A6: Travelling on the A6 - located 5 miles north of Lancaster in Bolton le Sands. Look for the brown tourist signs directing left into Mill Lane. Travelling North on the M6 exit at Junction 35: Signposted Carnforth and follow the directions for Carnforth, head through Carnforth for 2 miles into Bolton-le-Sands, turning right at the brown tourist sign into Mill Lane. SAT NAV: LA5 8ET Heading South from Kendal, the Lakes or Carlisle direction on the M6 or the A6: Travelling on the M6 exit at Junction 35 signposted Carnforth and follow the directions for Carnforth, head through Carnforth for 2 miles into Bolton-le-Sands, turning right at the Brown tourist sign into Mill Lane. Alternatively travel on the A6 following a similar route through Carnforth. SAT NAV: LA5 8ET Heading west from Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton or North Yorkshire direction head towards Morecambe Bay/Lancaster and pick up the route for Carnforth following the directions above. Bay View has excellent transport connections, by foot, or bicycle, there are bus routes that stop at the top of the lane only 500 yds from the Garden Centre. From Lancaster the No 555 From Morecambe the No 5 From the North Lakes, Kendal, Milnthorpe or Carnforth the No 555 Travel by boat: If you’re traveling on the Lancaster Canal its easy to moor up and take a little stroll down Mill Lane.
