Community Christmas Fair

Our mill community is filled with incredibly talented local artists and artisans, and we've invited them to showcase their fantastic work for this unique fair. From handmade textiles and artisan home-wares to heritage souvenirs, there is something for everyone.

We will also be joined by members of the Great War Society for a brilliant show and tell with a local flavour. They will be chatting to visitors about their incredible collection of WW1 objects, and will be giving us a 'Dressing a Tommy' demonstration at 1pm to show us what the soldiers wore during the war and why.

Our Café will also be chocked full of Christmassy treats including mince pies and mulled wine. The perfect place to do your Christmas shopping this year.
9 November - In the first workshop we will be folding our 'sets' of paper, piercing holes and stitching them together into a 'text block'. After this we will be prepping to add end papers and glue.

16 November - Continuing from the first workshop, we will be adding the end papers, reinforcing the spine and adding ribbon, before finishing off with the hardback.

If time is available, you will be able to decorate your finished book with personalised designs and fabrics. This is a great opportunity to learn a new crafting skill, meet new people and create something unique.
