One of the definitive bands of the Britpop era, recent years have seen Cast lead the 90s revival from the front line, releasing two acclaimed albums in the space of two years, and – of course – the huge reactions they received as guests on the Oasis stadium tour. The Liverpool legends dominated the charts in the 90s with a string of top 10 anthems, and were hailed by Noel Gallagher as a "religious experience" to watch live. Decades later, the band continues to capture the merseybeat spirit, blending timeless melodic hooks with a high-energy rock 'n' roll edge that remains as vital as ever.
