Jon Gresham built a sideshow empire throughout the UK, mainly at seaside resorts and back end fairs presenting his live illusion shows from 1955 to 1969. Similar shows featured on Blackpool's famous Golden Mile tempting visitors to spend their sixpences on attractions that disappeared as part of our popular culture by the early 1970's.
Jon Marshall has researched, restored and presented many of Jon Gresham's creations and this illustrated talk will vividly bring to life the strange and exotic sideshows of a bygone era.
