Martin Dodd for UK Productions Ltd, in association with Blackpool Grand Theatre, proudly presents Beauty and the Beast, a spellbinding festive spectacular for the whole family.
Returning this Christmas with jaw-dropping spectacle and dazzling magic, Beauty and the Beast roars onto the iconic Grand Theatre stage. Recently nominated for Best Pantomime (over 900 seats) at the UK Pantomime Awards, this year's production promises to be the boldest and brightest yet.
Leading the all-star cast is Marc Baylis, best known as Coronation Street's notorious bad boy. A magnetic stage presence, Baylis brings dramatic flair and delicious villainy to the role of Hugo Pompidou. Joining him is Blackpool's comedy hero Steve Royle, Britain's Got Talent finalist and reigning UK Pantomime Awards Best Comic, back with his signature chaos, wit and lovable mischief.
Making a fabulous Grand Theatre debut is Blackpool's one and only Betty Legs Diamond as Dame Polly La Plonk. A Blackpool legend and queen of cabaret, Betty brings glamour, high kicks and high-octane hilarity to the Panto stage in a role bursting with sass and sparkle. Stage sensation and social media superstar Kitty Harris has been announced as the Belle of the ball to add the finishing sparkling touch to an all-star panto cast.
