A Night of Jazz Featuring the Music of Cole Porter

This evening features the songs of Cole Porter – you'll be bound to recognise such as: Miss Otis Regrets, From this Moment On, E'vry Time we Say Goodbye, So in Love, I've got you under my Skin (and lots more). Tap your feet along to and even sing along with timeless jazz classics performed with stunning musicianship and a great sense of character. Coupled with Adee's astonishing vocal talents, this is an ensemble not to be missed.

Phil & Adee's onstage rapport and clear enjoyment of the music and appreciation of each other's style is contagious and will uplift the audience in a way that only such virtuosi communicative jazz can!

Phil Shotton regularly performs alongside many national and international jazz artists and has appeared at major jazz festivals, venues and music festivals throughout the country and abroad. Highly sought-after as both a performer and recording artist, Phil has released two albums under his own name and appeared on numerous recordings as a sideman.

Adee Lifshitz is a singer, songwriter, and arranger from Israel, now based in Manchester. She is currently involved in various musical projects, including swing/jazz band Vintage Swing Thing, AMC Gospel Choir and The Feel Good Choir. Alongside performing, Adee is the assistant producer for English Folk Expo (EFEx), a charity that supports the English folk, roots & acoustic music sector through initiatives including industry showcasing and public festivals.

This swinging trio play music from the wide and varied repertoire of jazz standards. The doors at The Chapel open at 7pm and the music starts at 8pm
