Ream Hills Camping and Caravan Park

Close to Blackpool and sitting near to the M55 motorway junction, Ream Hills Holiday Park enjoys a fantastic rural location. This award winning, family friendly campsite in Lancashire’s Fylde Coast area accommodates touring caravans and motorhomes. The pitches are spacious and there are several pitch types. A hardstanding pitch has a gravel base, plus space for a car and awning and an electric hook-up. Fully serviced pitches give guests the same but with the addition of a water tap and drain point. There are also a limited number of seasonal pitches. Ream Hills are dog friendly, but if you do want to bring your four-legged friends please let them know when booking, as dogs are only permitted on certain areas of the park and some breeds are not allowed. Owners must keep their dogs on a lead at all times and must always clean up after them.

If you are looking for something different, Ream Hills have a variety of Glamping options. New for 2020 are a series of wooden camping pods or, somewhat more luxurious, geodesic domes. Both the pods and domes sleep either four or six guests and the pods offer a fun and funky alternative to traditional canvas tenting. The Geodesic domes are quite simply spectacular, stunningly situated on the lake edge.… the perfect combination of environmental awareness and luxurious simplicity. Each dome is inclusive of a log burner, lounge, dining area and small kitchen area which includes sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and food storage area. Finally, there is also a decked area around each dome for those hot summer evenings in the tranquil countryside overlooking the lake at Ream Hills.

For those looking for an iconic, retro classic experience, there is a static American Winnebago-style RV that sleeps up to six people. Or how would you like to stay in a helicopter?  Well, believe it or not, you can at Ream Hills, and you don't miss out on luxuries when staying in their specially converted 1977 Westland Lynx XZ676 helicopter. Up to two adults and two children can be accommodated, plus there's a kitchen area that has a microwave, mini fridge, a small sink and hot and cold running water. There is also a heater, free Wi-Fi and a flat screen TV. A decked area with table and chairs provides the ideal evening relaxation before turning in.

On site facilities include a modern, well-kept amenities block, recently awarded Loo of the Year Platinum status with toilets, basins and free hot showers, good lighting throughout for ease of movement after dark, fresh water points, a chemical disposal point, a laundry room, a covered dishwashing area, free Wi-Fi access and an outdoor playground for the children. Wardens live on site and operate a small shop selling food, drinks and other basic essentials.

Luxurious self-catering lodges with hot tubs are also available for holiday hire - for further details please see here

Ream Hills is situated next door to Blackpool Wake Park which offers canoeing and an assault-course style aqua park as well as wake-boarding, whilst the Greedy Goose café is available for food and licensed drinks. Please note the wake park and café are only open on a seasonal basis.
