Five Star Boutique Bed & Breakfast in Kirkby Lonsdale offering a first class restaurant, elegant bar and beautiful, comfortable rooms.
Each room is unique, the only thing that is standard is comfort - the ultra luxury Vi-Spring beds, the crisp cotton linen, the stacks of fluffy white towels, the state of the art flat screen TVs, the luxurious en suite bathrooms with rainfall showers, and gorgeous local Sedbergh Soap Company toiletries.
Plato’s restaurant offers great food, locally sourced and beautifully cooked. You’ll find delicious food right throughout the day both in the bar and in the restaurant. Their menus change with the seasons – they use fresh local produce as much as they can – so you’ll always find something new and different to eat. From hearty breakfasts, through home-made burgers to specially created gourmet dishes – whenever you’re hungry you’ll find something delicious to keep you going at Plato’s.
Dogs are welcome in some of their bedrooms, blankets, water bowl, night pad, treats, bags, local dog friendly walks are provided at a cost of £15.00 per stay. Dogs are also welcome in their bar area.

Approximately 6 miles east of Junction 36 of the M6 motorway. Leave at Junction 36. On the roundabout northbound traffic take the third exit, southbound traffic take the first exit, follow signs for A65 Kirkby Lonsdale. Proceed 200 yards to second roundabout, go straight across, second exit. Continue along the A65 passing through Nook and Lupton. After 5 miles you will pass a BP garage on the right at next roundabout take the first exit (at Booths Store). At next junction turn left, follow one way system down Mitchelgate (sign posted Old Town) at the bottom of the hill bear right and Plato’s is 200 yards on your left.
