Farmer Parrs Animal World

If you like animals you’ll love Farmer Parrs! Award winning LEA approved visitor centre comprising animal farm, museum, pottery, tea room / shop, outdoor play area and large indoor barns.

Farmer Parrs opened over 10 years ago and has developed into an ideal place for young and old alike. It has an extensive country life museum, a pottery studio run by 'Autism Initiative' where children can paint a pot. Plus 12 acres of ponds, paddocks and walkways plus large undercover areas.
Daily events include tractor and pony rides, animal shows, owl flying, and animal petting. Presentations and talks can be arranged for schools and other group visits.
Birthday parties are catered for and include a great value party buffet plus use of the function room and animal show. There is also a cafe and gift shop.
The farm is now home to the Barbara Jackson Theatre Arts Centre.
Visit in December and be delighted with the live animal nativity and have a good olde chat with Santa in his fantastic log cabin too - a must for all the family. Special annual events also include Halloween and Easter. Keep an eye on the website for more info. Plenty to do come rain or shine!
