Lytham St Annes’ newest place from which to eat, drink, sleep and explore is now open, as The Inn Collection Group proudly launched Offshore on St Annes South Promenade.

A multi-million-pound refurbishment of the former Carlton and Lindum Hotels, Offshore is now a traditional pub offering time-honoured hospitality on the Lancashire coast, open all day every day.

Bringing the inn style of venue that The Inn Collection Group offers with award-winning style, it was declared open by actor and Lytham resident Jonas Armstrong, who performed the ceremonial task of pouring one of the first pints at the new pub.

With large ceiling-to-floor windows looking out over the coast, Offshore’s seascape is one to drink in whilst enjoying the company of family and friends whilst a large, raised terrace makes the most of the shoreline location and is the place to enjoy the fresh sea air on finer days.

From hearty breakfasts and speciality hot brews to delicious pub grub and delectable drinks, Offshore is set to be the perfect stopping-off point for well-earned refreshments on a seaside stroll.

The well-stocked bar is full of everyday favourites, while six cask ale pumps ensure that the very best tipples from local breweries are also available to offer a taste of Lancashire to those calling by.

Served between Noon and 9pm Offshore’s menu is packed with traditional pub grub favourites including sumptuous homemade pies, “proper” fish and chips and a refreshing seafood linguine.

Smaller appetites are also taken care of with a light bites menu available between Noon and 5pm, offering a mix of tasty sandwiches and salads alongside the main bill of fare.

Alongside its new-look pub, Offshore is also a superb base for adventures on the Fylde coast and into the countryside, with 98 completely refurbished bedrooms available for overnight stays.

Making Offshore The Inn Collection Group’s biggest inn by number of bedrooms. a mix of double, twin and family configurations are available alongside 19 single rooms.

With 10 superb golf courses within easy access of the inn, Offshore is an ideal place to tee off an unforgettable break to work on your handicap.

Though a new venture for The Inn Collection Group, the site has a long and illustrious history as a hospitality venue and for more than 60 years, delighted visitors in the ownership of Peter Rowley and family.

His daughter Amanda was one of the first to lay eyes on the renovations when she was invited to an exclusive sneak peek prior to the opening and she was impressed by what she saw.

She said: “Offshore looks great. It is totally different to what it was originally. but I love all of it and I’m looking forward to coming in, testing it out and having some food and drink soon.

“We obviously have many, many family memories having the Lindum as part of our family for so long, but it is very exciting to see the vibrancy of the new Offshore and it will be very exciting to see how it progresses.”
