This special exhibition celebrates the joys of cycling past and present. Curated in partnership with painter Gosha Gibek the exhibition is part of the Bowland Cycling Festival 2022 and features a wonderful blend of contemporary fine art and crafts by local artists. Also on display are selected images and objects from the museum collection that provide a glimpse into the history of cycling and local cycling clubs, especially the much-loved and longstanding sport of racing. Objects on display include a velocipede and the Clarion Cup.
Entry to the Steward's Gallery is free. The exhibition will run up to the end of Cycling September so keep an eye out for details of associated events and activities.
