Calling all history lovers and those interested in the past. The Plantagents, Lancashire and England will explore the history of England's greatest dynasty and their impact, not only on England but also Lancashire. We will discover the castles, people, and places associated with the Planatgents placing the events in the context of wider British history. We will be using timelines, maps, primary and secondary sources to discover the rich and diverse history of Lancashire, England and her medieval kings. Looking at key historical debates on some of the most controversial issues of the time. If you love discussing history, finding out about the past, and sharing your knowledge and ideas with others then this is the right course for you. This introductory session creates the foundation for a longer course on Lancashire history.
