We'll be delving into our collection of bags, purses and pockets to share some highlights from this section of the collection. From beautifully embroidered 18th century pockets, to a Victorian bag decorated with real fish scales and minutely beaded flapper purses.
This beaded bag dates to around 1900 and shows influences from the Glasgow School of Art in the stylised design of roses.
