Mention sparkling wine and nearly everyone thinks of Champagne. But there is a host of other sparkling wines, so visit and enjoy tasting some well-known and a couple of less familiar ones. There will be Champagne too, of course.
Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Educator, Maureen Little, will present six specially selected sparkling wines. Maureen will show you how to taste the wines, paying attention to the aroma and flavours, the body, the feel in the mouth, and the finish. A delicious cheese and charcuterie accompaniment from The Reading Room Café is included in the price.
No previous experience is necessary. Just visit and enjoy.
