The Skelmersdale Christmas Lights Switch On event will be taking place between the new Tawd Valley Centre and the Concourse Shopping Centre on Saturday 19th November. The event begins at 12pm until 8pm.
Throughout the day Skelmersdale-based Social Enterprise E-Rooms will be providing a day of fun and free family entertainment and music including the Rock Choir, Showbiz Academy and headline act Apostles, supported by Big Bambora. The Skelmersdale Prize Band will also be playing Christmas carols.
The Artisan Network North-West will be hosting their Frost Fair, a Christmas-themed artisan market, close to the entrance to the Concourse Shopping Centre.
The Christmas lights switch on will be at 5pm by the Mayor of West Lancashire.
