This talk will be hosted by Eric Watkiss the director of our resident Saving Amy airspeed Oxford restoration project. The evening will include a an overview of the projects progress, the challenges locating the many spare parts required for the restoration and the worldwide links and partnerships that have been developed as part of this important and unique project.
The talk will include the story of Amy Johnson and her family links to Blackpool and her final mission, from RAF Squires Gate. There will be a mid way break for complementary hot or cold drinks.
