Clitheroe has become something of a beacon of Mod culture due, in part, to its destination for scooter rallies and the well established Mod Soul Weekender that takes place every September.
In April 2019, The Grand teams up with 'The Sounds History Saved' to bring you a 'Quadrophenia Club Night' to mark the 40th Anniversary of the iconic film, and featuring the brilliant tribute band Absolute Kinks.
Alongside the live band they'll be DJ Drew Stansall (saxophonist with The Specials and Prince Buster), spinning the best in Mod, ska, two-tone, 60's, R&B and soul! (along with a big screen backdrop film show)!
Playing a set packed full of Kinks classics including Sunny Afternoon, All Day And All Of The Night, You Really Got Me, Dedicated Follower Of Fashion and Lola, this 1960's era Kinks tribute will transport you directly back to the swinging sixties, creating the ultimate 'Carnabetian' feel good factor.
